The Hostler Model Railroad Club is proud to be part of a large and active community of model railroad clubs and organizations throughout the Intermountain West. Each group brings its own unique focus, layouts, and events that help promote the hobby of model railroading.
Whether you are looking for another club closer to home, interested in visiting additional layouts, or want to attend more train shows and railroad events, the organizations below represent some of the many groups working to keep the hobby growing.

The South Weber Model Railroad Club is a large scale train club. Our trains are approximately 1/8th scale. We run on 7 1/2" gauge track. Each car can hold up to 900 pounds, so come ride our trains. The club track is located in Canyon Meadows Park at 631 East Petersen Parkway, South Weber, Utah. |

Come join the club as we construct a new layout to replace the one lost due to the March 2020 earthquake. We are now accepting new members. (HO scale) now at the Trolley Square History Museum. We are NE of the Old Spaghetti Factory, next to the Desert Edge Pub. The children’s play area is in front of the museum. In addition to the layout, rides are given on a kiddie train. We are an S-gauge, tin-plate, modular train club running mostly A.C. Gilbert and Lionel American Flyer trains that are 3/16” scale (3/16 inch per actual foot) or a scale of 1/64. These trains run on two rail, realistic looking track. This S scale club meets the third Friday of each month at various club member homes. Their newsletter contains the time and place. Founded in 2006, the Utah Lego Users Group (ULUG) is the largest and premiere group of adult and teen LEGO fans in the state of Utah. ULUG is officially recognized by the LEGO group as a regional fan group, and aims to improve our local communities through our love of bricks. |

Shay Park Railroad is a 7.5" gauge railroad at Shay Park in Saratoga Springs, Utah. The miniature railroad is run by the Utah Live Steamers, an all-volunteer 501.c.3 club, and is supported entirely by riders and corporate donations. Min rider height 32". |
